MILLENNIAL
Social Security; What About Me?
- Because current social security retirees agree to support the ACT plan,
you’ll have a new individually owned
retirement account (ICIRA) – you own it, it’s yours, and it’s portable.
- In return you’ll support the ACT plan that “secures today”, meaning current
social security retirees will get their
social security checks without revision until the day they expire
- Both you and the retirees support the ACT plan that:
A) Phases out new social security retiree obligations over a 35 year period;
means more money for your retirement account: over time you’ll keep
more of your paycheck
B) Eliminates new social security IOUs created by social security tax over
payments, and begins phasing out the current 2.5 trillion dollar social security
IOU debt you’re on the hook for
Social Security Benefit;
So is this it?
- If I’m drawing a paycheck subject to social security taxes, I’ll have a new
retirement account that I own,
without any additional monies coming out of my paycheck.
- Current retirees will get their social security checks without revision
until the day they expire.
- Future SS funding burdens are relieved by phasing out new SS retiree
obligations over the next 35 years.
- There will be no more new social security IOUs that I’ll have to pay
again plus interes.
